Deadline recently teased that the streamer will shoot two back-to-back sequels of this stellar heist movie. Hence, we will get to see Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds together yet again, playing this fussy thief and police game.
Although Netflix has kept everything under wraps, Deadline said that writer-director Rawson Marshall will return as well. Notably, he is currently working on the scripts and will start shooting in 2023. News is also there that the plan is to bring back the old movie stars and add more to the list. Seemingly, the streaming service might bring back Red Notice tending to make us think of Ocean’s Eleven-style franchise.

Moreover, Beau Flynn will return to produce via his Flynn Pictures Co banner, alongside Johnson, Hiram Garcia, and Dany Garcia via Seven Bucks Productions. Thurber is also producing through his Bad Version Productions and Flynn Picture Co’s Scott Sheldon will be exec producer, per Deadline.
Having said that, the movie earned a 92% of audience rating and cracked all the records bagging 280 plus hours of viewership within a short period of its successful debut. There’s no doubt as to why Netflix is all in filming its sequel back-to-back. We can’t wait to see Red Notice in the list of million-dollar franchises such as Avatar, Pirates of Caribbean, The Hunger Games, et cetera who get such out-of-the-world treatments.
