Ratched season 2 already renewed from Netflix. Ryan Murphy‘s new series recently hit on the platform and released with eight episodes in the first season on September 18th, 2020.

Ryan Murphy‘s reboot for the nurse character from One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (1975) movie already released on Netflix. This TV series based on the 1962 novel with the same title “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest” movie. Also, the drama series is set in mid-20th century Northern California where Mildred Ratched found a job at a psychiatric hospital as a nurse. However, the series also follows the nurse’s first days navigating the mental healthcare system and her journey.

There’s no official release date announcement yet. But, Netflix already announces the renewed for this drama series. Also, according to the production, ‘Ratched‘ Season 2 will release on sometime 2021. We will also hear new official details from Netflix over the next few months for the second season.

However, Deadline reported: “Ratched scored a two-season, 18-episode straight-to-series order.”

“Rathed also follows the origin story of asylum nurse Mildred Ratched. In 1947, Mildred arrives in Northern California to seek employment at a leading psychiatric hospital where new and unsettling experiments have begun on the human mind. On a clandestine mission, Mildred presents herself as the perfect image of what a dedicated nurse should be, but the wheels are always turning and as she begins to infiltrate the mental health care system and those within it, Mildred’s stylish exterior belies a growing darkness that has long been smoldering within, revealing that true monsters are made, not born.” Also, main cast includes Sarah Paulson, Finn Wittrock, Cynthia Nixon.
