Evidence of the same can be dated back to the time when their eldest son Archie stepped into the living world in the year, 2019 on the 6th of May. Although they initially held back from making the announcement until two days following Archie’s birth, their official statement gave a heartwarming gesture to Princess Diana and her family. They evidently mentioned her siblings and the remnant of her family members in the sweet message of Archie’s birth. 

As the two stepped into a significant chapter of their life as parents, they wrote, “The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh….Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale, and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news.” This official statement of Markle’s delivery showcased nothing but the most heartwarming honor and respect to the entire Spencer clan along with the Windsors.

As reported by Unilad, this has not been an official practice in the royal household. Supporting facts can be noted from the time Princess Kate Middleton gave birth to all three Wales children. None of the official statements had any mention of Prince William’s maternal family. Nonetheless, there were times when the Duke of Cambridge confessed to keeping his mother’s memory alive through his own ways. 

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on the other hand were in fact seen having a gorgeous portrait of Princess Diana in their Montecito abode. In some heartwarming behind-the-scenes moments, Prince Harry would record while his wife, Meghan Markle would let Archie know whose grandson he actually is.
