Peyton List Reveals What Upset Her About Cobra Kai Season 4

The martial arts American show, Cobra Kai, released its Season 4 on Netflix on December 31st, 2021. After winning the highly anticipated girl’s tournament final against Sam, Tory seemed thrilled at winning without cheating. However, Peyton List, who plays the character of Tory Nichols, was upset by her character’s treatment in Season 4.

In the conversation with Entertainment Tonight, three actors Peyton List, Tanner Buchanan, and Mary Mouser from Cobra Kai spilled some secrets from the set of Season 4. In addition to that, the cast even revealed how they felt about the results from the All-Valley Karate Tournament in the season finale.

The host from ET asked Peyton about how she felt after she came to know that her victory was tainted.

In her reply, Peyton List explained, “I think there’s a lot of moments my jaw just dropped when I read that. I mean, that was pretty, pretty crushing. Just feel like this character that’s the one thing like the whole season I’m just like this is the one thing I’ll prove to myself you know my worth if I win the All Valley or you know this will finally be the one thing I have ownership of I don’t really have anything going for me except this one thing and then that thing is taken from her. So, that was pretty heartbreaking.”

This does kind of mirror her character from the series and her mannerisms in the final fight as she was trying to be good.

Tory Nichols displays a unique side in the final fight in Cobra Kai Season 4

At the end of the All-Valley Tournament, the event’s last fight between Tory and Sam shows us that Tory is changing somehow. She even showed remorse during the match when she accidentally hit Sam’s face with her elbow with the score tied at 2-2.

Tory, who looked shocked, expressed concern as she said, “I didn’t mean to. It was an accident.” When Silver urged her to repeat it, she argued and responded, “It was an accident. I don’t need to cheat to win.” After winning the match, Tory asked Sam if she was okay or not.

After Season 4 showed hints of Tory Nichols renouncing her Cobra Kai ways, Season 5 could see how she deals with the “heartbreaking” knowledge that her victory was not clean despite her best efforts.
