We have a lot of animated television shows, which might look like cartoons at first. But the more we discover, the more we realize that the cartoon is actually for adults. Such shows are quite popular among adults viewers. These shows were popular in the 90s, and are still gaining views. Such shows are The Simpsons, The Family Guy, Beavis and Butt-head, King of the Hill, The Critic, Family Park, and many more. One such show is The Cuphead Show on Netflix, which has a vibe from the 90s. In conversation with Den Of Geek, the creator of the show, Wasson explains, “MDHR really went bananas with it, doing full-on traditional 2D animation, and really captured that style beautifully,” he says. “It was a real love letter to the cartoons of that era.”

The cartoon comprises some content that is not suitable for kids. The Cuphead Show is an animated series by Dave Wasson for Netflix, which inspired by a 2017 video-game Cuphead by Studio MDHR. As some of the adult content may be present in the show, we can consider, the show is not full for kids only. Nor the Cuphead and Magnum are younger like children.

The animated television series of Netflix released on February 18th, 2022, and received a lot of positive reviews from critics. Polygon claims the show is, “The series is seemingly content to just be the kind of show where something qualifies as a joke if it’s said loudly enough.”

How old are Cuphead and Mugman?

After doing some deeper analysis of the animated cartoon show, we realize Cuphead and Magnum are not children. They can be teenagers and older than that because they went to casinos to gamble. We can’t expect a kid to know everything about gambling. However, Netflix didn’t confirm their age, so we can only assume by their actions. Wesson claims the show is a fast-paced, slapstick comedy for kids. But there are enough materials for adults as well.

He expresses, “These characters have all different sorts of heightened emotions. There’s jealousy, greed, pride, and all that kind of stuff that I think is really relatable to adults because they can see qualities in these characters that they recognize in themselves. And that’s always really fun to laugh at.”
