We all love a good zombie movie or an apocalyptic movie, where the Earth is on the verge of destruction. But did we ever think, what will be the scenario after an apocalypse? Recently, Netflix released a trailer of Black Crab on YouTube, which visualizes the after-effects of an apocalypse.

Black Crab is a Swedish movie by Adam Berg, starring Noomi Rapace, who is famous for her work in Prometheus and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy. Along with Noomi Rapace, David Dencik. Malin Idevall and Mattias Montero are also producing the film. Christopher Granier-Deferre, Berg, Emil Wiklund, and Kim Magnusson are the executive producers of the film. Black Crab has been inspired by the novel of the same name by Jerker Virdborg.

We never assumed Rapace in a post-apocalyptic crime thriller, which only motive is to fight for survival. The film develops around a speed-skater-turned-assassin, with her colleagues who must go on a frozen mysterious mission. But, little did they know, her only motive is to save her daughter from post-apocalyptic repercussions.

The trailer begins with six soldiers skating through a frozen archipelago, as they begin Black Crab, which Rapace mentions as a “suicide mission”. From the trailer, we are quite they will ramp the film up with white frozen ice, action scenes, war, and chaos. The trailer ends with Rapace saying, “It’s just us and the enemy now. I’m not saying it will be easy. But we have one chance, we have to make it.”

The synopsis

The action-thriller is set up in a post-apocalyptic world, where everything is torn by war. Six soldiers started a mission by risking their lives to deliver a secret package. Only this secret package can stop the war. As they enter their enemy’s territory, they don’t know which danger they are going to face.
