Lindsay Lohan to make a comeback with a Christmas movie later this year

Earlier this year, in the month of March, Netflix announced a new deal with Lindsay. The piece most probably would be a Christmas movie, as the name suggests. Previously named Christmas in Wonderland, its tentative title goes as Falling for Christmas. According to sources, it’ll be directed by BIBA winner Janeen Damian with writers Michael Damian (her husband) as well as Jeff Bonnet.

A tweet by the official account of Netflix gave slight hints about the movie’s plot. Lindsay plays a spoilt lady, Sierra who, “after getting Amnesia in a skiing accident, is taken in by a single dad and learns the value of kindness and love.” According to reports, the new Lohan film will be produced by Brad Krevoy of Riviera Films. The producers are already well known for their other Christmas movies like A Christmas Prince and Operation Christmas Drop.

Who else do we expect to see in the movie?

The movie will also cast Glee star Chord Overstreet as a leading character. Others might include George Young, Jack Wagner, Sean Dillingham, and Olivia Perez.

The movie has already been under production since last November. It’s expected to be near the closing lines in a matter of a few months from now. Hopefully, we’ll get to treat ourselves to the Christmas movie in the chilling winters of 2022.
