There probably hasn’t been a villain that was as feared as Voldemort. There have been other huge villains with genocide on their minds, but no one even comes close to scaring people and giving us nightmares as Voldemort did. So when people first just saw the images of Vecna in Stranger Things 4, it gave them goosebumps almost immediately. Vecna reminded us of all the fear and horror Voldemort gave us for years. The reason for such alarming similarity was their appearance: Vecna, too like Voldemort, had a horrifying nose or did not have one.

How Vecna from Stranger Things links to Harry Potter?

The Harry Potter series had one of the most illustrious casts in the history of cinema. Not only did the franchise give the world huge stars like Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson, but also included stars in smaller roles that created great careers for themselves, like Harry Melling as Dudley Dursley.

One such actor who had a split second role in the first Deathly Hallow film was Jamie Campbell. Jamie played a young Gellert Grindelwald in the film. He even reprised his role in the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald. And fortunately, Jamie is also the actor who portrays Vecna in Stranger Things 4.

Even though he had a blink-it-and-you-will-miss-it type of role, the connection of Grindelwald with Vecna is something that certainly excites fans of both the series.
