A look back at one of the most important Stranger Things episode
Season three of Stranger Things was one of the show’s best, only to be beaten by its current fourth one. The season had a bumpy ride among fans, with audiences feeling disconnected from the story. But the season finale shocked all with one of the best endings to any season ever.
And all the credit for bringing back fans’ attention goes to the third season’s penultimate episode, The Bite. The seventh episode will always be remembered for the Eddie-like death of the beloved character Dr. Alexei.
But there was another huge moment in the show that has now become of great importance after the fourth season.
In the current season of the show, fans got to know who Vecna, aka 001, was. 001 or Henry Creel was banished to the Upside Down by El in 1978.
And it was in Upside Down that the monster Vecna was born who started building his army comprising of Demogorgons and, you guessed it, the Mind Flayer.

Vecna was the mastermind behind Mind Flayer all along. So when in the episode The Bite, Mind Flayer warns El that they will be coming for her, it was actually Vecna’s threat to her.
In the fourth season, we all got to know how Vecna and El had a previous relationship and that El, in one way, was responsible for his creation. So this threat by Vecna makes a lot more sense now than it made back in 2019.
