Here are some Netflix Originals scheduled for April 2021, among which are both new productions and additions to the already-existing series.
Netflix has already started so fast and announced a lot of new series and movies. In addition, we can see more Netflix Originals this year than last year, although pandemic makes the production processes hard. Anyway, Netflix is gonna be working well and try to produce new original productions, and we are ready to consume them the day they are released. Drama and comedy await us in April 2021. Of course, many more productions will be added soon.
All Netflix Originals Coming in April 2021

Worn Stories, which is a documentary-series basically about how we connect with what we wear, is coming to Netflix on April 1st. It is produced by the creators Jenji Kohan and Morgan Neville. You can watch its teaser below.
The popular sitcom is finally back with its third part. Releasing on April 5th, the new part of Family Reunion marks the second season of the series. You can watch its trailer here.
Yasuke is a new anime series from LeSean Thomas, coming in hot with its six episodes. Its story is about a samurai going back to his old life to protect an enigmatic girl. Yasuke is going to be released on Netflix on April 29th.
Starring Stranger Things’ Dustin, Gaten Matarazzo, Prank Encounters is going to be back on Netflix on April 1st with its new episodes. Even though not living up to the expectations, it’s still a big production. You can watch the trailer shared by Netflix below.
Starring Jamie Foxx, this new sitcom series of Netflix is loosely based on Foxx’s IRL relationship between him and his daughter Connie. Coming to Netflix on April 14th, the series is described by Netflix as following:
“Full of heart and humor, Dad Stop Embarrassing Me! is inspired by Foxx’s real-life relationship with daughter Corinne Foxx, who also serves as executive producer. The multi-cam sitcom reunites Foxx with showrunner Bentley Kyle Evans (The Jamie Foxx Show) and is directed by Ken Whittingham (black-ish).”
This is a fantasy series based on the Grishaverse novels written by Leigh Bardugo. This fantasy-adventure series is set in the imaginary Kingdom of Ravka, which is seemingly inspired by Russia. Shadow and Bone is coming to Netflix on April 23rd. You can watch the teaser trailer for it below.

It is a new show starring Jamie Lee, which is about her mentoring couples who are about to get married. According to Jamie Lee, wedding perfection is unattainable, but she does his best with her comedian friends to attain that goal. The Wedding Coach is coming to Netflix on April 7th, and you can watch the trailer for it below.

It’s a horror movie starring Amanda Seyfried, James Norton, and Stranger Things’ Natalia Dyer. Things Heard and Seen is going to be on Netflix on April 30th.

Set to be released on April 9th, this movie stars Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer. Thunder Force is a superhero comedy written and directed by Ben Falcone. Netflix sets the expectations from this new project with the statement below. Thunder Force is going to be on Netflix on April 9th.
