There were a lot of highlights in this year’s Stranger Things, from amazing visuals to the mesmerizing background score. However, if we talk in terms of characters, there is only one that has stolen the heart of all the Stranger Things fans, Eddie Munson. Eddie was not just a great Dungeons & Dragons master but a true metal head. But it was not just a coincidence.
A lot of work went into the creation of the hero who did not run away. And who better to pick out minute details that make Eddie great than his fans.
Keen-eyed fans have spotted a few details that settle the debate forever: Eddie is the best representation of a Metal Head in cinematic history.

Why Eddie from Stranger Things is the biggest Metal Head
Our hearts are still beating fast after Eddie’s incredible solo at the Stranger Things finale. The two-minute solo of Master of Puppets by Eddie will go down in history as not only the most metal scene ever but surely as one of the greatest too.
It was incredible to know that it was actor Joseph Quinn performing himself. His solo was on point and gave goosebumps to anyone watching. But his amazing performance was not all he had to offer.

Metal Head fans of Stranger Things have since pointed out another scene from the show that convinced them that Eddie was the greatest metal head.
Reddit user wrote, “Eddie holding an iron maiden album which has a picture of Eddie (iron maidens mascot) on it was very on point.”

Another Reddit user explains this “his name on the album is Eddie the head. This is referenced by Eddie having a head.”
Besides his emasculate taste in music, Eddie’s wardrobe, which Joseph also made additions, was a great way of showing his love for Rock n roll.
Even though Eddie is dead, there are theories that he might show up in the series’ fifth and final season in one form or other.
