This had never been seen in the history of Netflix that fans get to see a bonus episode of their favorite show so soon after its release. However, the most unique show of dreams and nightmares The Sandman has fulfilled the dream of viewers getting one more glimpse of our beloved Tom Sturridge.

The said bonus episode had two parts. One narrated the story of a cat, while the other steeped into the great folklores of Greek mythology, leaving people astounded. The animated part was mind-blowing and represented a new perspective of lives other than humans on this planet. The first part of the episode, especially, was a standout for how it managed to reiterate Dream’s message throughout the 10-episode long season.

A Dream of a Cat can transform the world in episode 11 of The Sandman 

A Dream of a Thousand Cats dives deeper into the dream of a feline whose kids are drowned in water by humans. The story begins with a small kitten jumping out of his home to go out at night. Soon, it is revealed that all the city’s cats have gathered to meet a mistress cat.

The cat is a prophet who spreads the word from place to place. She tells a tale of her sorrows when she prayed to her god to give her justice. The prophet sleeps and goes to The Dreaming to meet Morpheus.

This episode of The Sandman takes viewers to the dreamworld of animals. The cat told everyone how she traveled through the mysterious and wicked paths to reach him.
