Ben Affleck sure has a list of songs dedicated to him. The Batman actor has been a superhero lover of Jennifer Lopez, especially since they reunited after years and got married. After years of separation, the duo has been inseparable and is more in love than ever before. Fans of both stars have witnessed years of their relationship and even heard of it through interviews and songs.

Now, artists often tend to pour their thoughts and pain into their art. For Lopez, that meant writing music about her thoughts. Just like Taylor Swift, the ‘Jenny from the Block’ singer also wrote songs about Ben Affleck, about their relationship.

Now that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are back together, people have even more questions about their love story. Affleck recently went on for an interview for Jason Bateman’s SmartLess podcast, to speak about his life and career. As expected, Bateman, who is part of the same club as Affleck, pinched the topic of songs dedicated to the Pearl Harbour actor. ‘Dear Ben’ and ‘Dear Ben II’ were the names of the songs.

“The songs that are written about me are written by the greatest performer in the world, Jennifer Lopez,” replied Affleck. Although he feels that it is not exactly about him, but rather about a mix of negative experiences she had.

He then remembered that one more ‘not-gifted’ person wrote a song about him, who was none other than Jimmy Kimmel. The song is called ‘I’m f*cking Ben Affleck’ and is a fun parody song posted on the Jimmy Kimmel’s YouTube channel back in 2009. As for the Lopez songs, Bateman wanted to know if they were written during his breakup with Lopez. Affleck tossed out that question by asking the co-host to interview the singer about it instead.

That said, the Justice League actor has been an important part of her career.

Lopez and Affleck were engaged to be married back in 2002 before they broke up. The duo was so in love that she wrote the song ‘Dear Ben’ to dedicate it to him. Two decades later, she wrote part II of the song which was released in her 2022 album ‘This is Me…Now’, after the couple reunited. He also appeared in her 2002 hit song ‘Jenny From The Block’ and decades later, they recreated the scene.
