With Black Adam vs Superman Out of Sight, The Rock vs Henry Cavill to Happen Outside DCU?
The aftermath of Black Adam gave fans one shock after another. Dwayne Johnson hyped up a Henry Cavill cameo throughout the promotions. And this garnered a small pack of audience who went to watch the movie in hopes that they will see Cavill as Superman again. And they did. Towards the end of the movie, a stunning shot hints at Black Adam finally fighting it out with an equally strong competitor, Superman.

But considering how the new DCU heads have decided to hard reboot all existing heroes by canceling respective franchises, there will not be a sequel to Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam. And as for Cavill, within a month of embracing his red cloak again, he was told that he was not needed in the DC universe of Gunn and Safran. Now, both actors, apart from discussing their biceps, can also talk about their failed DC dream, and hopefully, another collaboration that does not require DC.

Considering how Dwayne Johnson went behind the back of major departments to pull the strings for a Cavill comeback, it is clear that he knows of the Cavill effect. And in case you didn’t, the Cavill effect is the phenomenon that drives a massive audience to watch any project The Witcher alum is even rumored to star because of the brilliance the actor guarantees.
Which is why fans think that the two of them should move on from the failed DC venture and work on another project together. An action movie starring the two bulked-up actors would be perfect for both of them. Moreover, Cavill, whose best role is considered to be that of the Geralt in The Witcher, has spent a long time in the fantasy world. And an action movie alongside Dwayne Johnson, set in the real world, is just the way for him to make a comeback. Although there has been no news of Dwayne Johnson making a sequel, given how the actor would need a pump-up at the box office after the Black Adam fail, fans are sure that he will revert back to a guaranteed hit like Hobbs & Shaw.
