Marvel Cinematic Universe is one of the most popular film franchises in the world today. They introduced the audience to a massive number of comic book characters. And amongst such comic book heroes, one is Blade. The walking half-man half-vampire is one of the most loved characters on-screen. We are no strangers to the legacy Wesley Snipes left behind as the all-black half vampire half man. Owing to the incredible performance by Snipes, the character became incredibly popular among the masses. But have you ever imagined Will Smith bringing the character to life instead of Wesley Snipes?

Will Smith, one of the finest actors in Hollywood, is incredibly versatile and has starred in a huge variety of roles. As we all know, previously, Marvel announced at San Diego Comic Con in 2019 that Mahershala Ali would be taking over as the character. However, recently Anderson Luis Souza with the help of AI art turned Will Smith into the incredible vampire hunter.

The artist shared the pictures on Facebook and interestingly, the results are rather impressive. The images featured the Men In Black actor in an all-black outfit perfectly portraying him as a vampire slayer. Smith rocked a collared long jacket pairing it with black sunglasses.

However, unlike Wesley Snipes the images saw Smith hold an assault rifle and not the iconic Blade sword. Undeniably, all the images surely made the Aladdin look like a character straight out of a Matrix film. Owing to the incredible images, the fans were convinced how Smith could also be a good fit for the character. Furthermore, Smith is no strangers to slashing various creatures on-screen. Previously, one of his films I Am Legend saw the actor deal with not exactly vampires but other supernatural creatures on-screen.

Not long ago, rumors of Smith entering the MCU started making the rounds. As we all know, the actor has already starred in the DCEU as Deadshot. And undoubtedly, the actor did an incredible job playing the character. Reports were that the actor wanted to join the MCU. Moreover, the reports further revealed that actor even talked to Kevin Feige about the same.

However, sadly, the rumors bore no fruit. Owing to his Oscar slap gate with Chris Rock, the talks never went further. Soon after the rumors too stopped floating around.
