Had the actor not indulged in violent behavior at the Academy Awards 2022, the odds would still be in his favor and he would still be sitting on a pedestal titled GOAT. However, the Selective Outrage comedian, Chris Rock, and Jumanji: The Next Level actor Kevin Hart still hold pretty much the same opinion of the I Am Legend actor.

Ever since the moment that unfortunately defined Oscar history, there has been plenty of speculation about where Chris Rock and Will Smith stand now. And according to Kevin Hart and Chris Rock, Will Smith is still the GOAT.

Not a ‘good human’, but GOAT is the word for Will Smith

A good while after the incident, Chris Rock stepped back on stage and fans hailed his return not only because of how he handled the slap but also because he is arguably one of the greatest comedians of all time. The 58-year-old comedian was performing at the Madison Square Garden in London in July 2022, which constituted guest appearances from Dave Chappelle and Kevin Hart. The latter decided to take the moment to gift Rock a gift. A goat named Will Smith. According to People, Kevin Hart said “The name is Will Smith,” and left the audience in splits.

One could take Hart’s joke as a dig or as a compliment. However, Hart was only aiming at a heartless quick joke and swiftly proceeded to talk about how grateful he was seeing the black community unite.

Hart’s comments at the Madison Square Garden have made many curious about who he thinks is the real G.O.A.T. And while he did name the real goat Will Smith, he cleared it then and there that Chris Rock is his G.O.A.T. However, the actor is not one to pick sides and bash others.

After the slapgate, Kevin Hart was one of the first celebrities to speak positively about Will Smith. While Smith is yet to do his usual energy-packed appearances with celebrities, fans are excited about his upcoming movies.
