Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had an awkward week in the United Kingdom following Queen Elizabeth II’s demise. The couple looked aloof and out of place during the service and state funeral. However, there was one moment that was a treat to watch for the royal fans and crown servants. The Sussexes, along with the Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate Middleton, put up a show of unity by walking outside Windsor castle to greet the mourners. 

It now looks like Kate Middleton is hoping to reunite the two royal brothers. The Princess of Wales is likely to put aside her differences with Meghan Markle and offer an “olive branch.” Meghan and Kate have had a turbulent relationship since the very beginning. The Duchess of Sussex also accused her sister-in-law of making her cry before her wedding. Thus, it will be interesting to watch if the two can join hands to bring the family together. 

Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton to reunite the family?

Kate Middleton and Prince William will be traveling to Boston in December this year. They are hoping to squeeze out some personal time amidst their professional tour to the United States. Notably, this is the same time when Meghan and Harry will be traveling to New York. The Sussexes will be honored at the Ripple of Hope Award Gala by the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights organization. Since both couples will be close by, Kate is hoping for a meetup. 

“Once Kate and William’s Boston plans are set in stone, she’s planning to extend an olive branch to Meghan in a bid to reunite the brothers and heal the rift,” a source said, as quoted by US Weekly.

The anonymous source further added that the Princess of Wales is making an extra effort, as she believes that Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana would have also wanted to see the two brothers united. Meanwhile, it is revealed that Meghan Markle is ready to take up the offer. If the dates are suitable for the couple, the former actress is ready to accept the olive branch.
