Who Is Meg Bellamy, 19 the New Found Kate Middleton of ‘The Crown’ Season 6?

Who is the fresh face of Netflix’s The Crown, Meg Bellamy?
We shall get to see the entry of the Duchess of Cambridge in the sixth and final season of Netflix’s The Crown. Instead of a familiar celebrity, 19-year-old former head girl Meg Bellamy will be seen in the role. According to a source, she will star opposite 16-year-old Rufus Kampa, who will play young Prince William showcasing the story of the couple in their younger days.

This gig will be her first professional acting debut. She is a former drama student at St. Crispin’s school, which is coincidentally located close to where Kate Middleton lived as a child. Bellamy initially saw a post about casting roles and submitted an audition tape.
The credit for her casting goes to casting directors Nina Gold and Robert Sterne. They are known for finding hidden talents and transforming them into Royal characters. This also includes Emma Corrin, a fresh college graduate who now plays the role of Princess Diana, Princess of Wales.

Now, Netflix’s The Crown is a historical drama series that first aired in 2016 and revolves around the life and reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Covering events in a dramatized form right from her coronation ceremony to the Royal family’s present-day events.
