Kdrama makers really know how to put out an interesting, impactful, mysterious, and thrilling story set up in the legal world. Furthermore, some of the most popular Kdramas are legal dramas. Despite there being a plethora of them, fans cannot have enough. Lawless Lawyer is a Kdrama that brings together the world of law and gangsters.

On one hand, we have something that is considered sacred in every land and, on the other hand, something that people are scared to mention. Can law and crime go together?

This Kdrama is all about finding a gray area between what is good and what is bad. If you are a fan of the “defeat evil with evil” trope then Lawless Lawyer is a must-watch for you. Over the course of sixteen episodes, the Kdrama follows Bong Sang Pil, a gangster turned lawyer avenging his mother’s death. He uses tricks from his time as a gangster and incorporates them to legally punish the criminals.

He is joined by Jae Yi, an attorney who hits a judge because of his corrupted judgment in a case and gets suspended for it. Another reason why this Kdrama is so popular is that the female lead is equally daring. She used to believe that law is sacred but soon realizes that the rich and powerful have made it corrupt.

The character of Sang Pil is brilliantly portrayed by Lee Joon Gi. And the female lead, Jae Yi is played by the beautiful Seo Yea Ji, who, at this point, has a copyright on the word badass.

Is the thrilling Lawless Lawyer Kdrama available on Netflix?

The sixteen-part Kdrama starring Lee Joon Gi and Seo Yea Ji aired on tvN from the 12th of May to the 1st of July. Unfortunately, Lawless Lawyer is not available on Netflix right now. Not, Lawless Lawyer but Netflix has Lee Joon Gi’s Flower of Evil and Seo Yea Ji’s flagship Kdrama Its Ok to Not Be Okay.
