“When (your) life imitates (your) art..” – Comedian D.L. Hughley Mocks Kanye West for the 200k Divorce Settlement With Kim Kardashian
D.L. Hughley did not miss a chance to mock Kanye West. The 59-year-old comedian had previously called out Ye for his harassment of Kim Kardashian on social media. However, that just made Hughley one of the many people to do so. West and Kardashian had a rather public and rough divorce.
The duo got married in 2014 and by 2021, Kardashian filed for a divorce. While Ye did try to win his wife back, he also dragged her in social media rants a lot. After months of non-co-operation, the duo finally came to a settlement but Ye is now getting mocked by the comedian with his own song.

How did D.L. Hughley mock Kanye West?
West usually uses songs to get his message across, but who knew that his own song would be used for mocking him? Stand up comedian D.L. Hughley got on Instagram to say, “When (your) life imitates (your) art…YIKES. If you ain’t no punk holla, ‘We want prenup’ ‘We want prenup!,’ yeah It’s something that you need to have ’cause when she leave yo’ ass she gone leave with half….” He then continued to give details of the divorce settlement between former power couple West and Kardashian. As per the settlement, they will equally split the children’s expenses while Ye will also pay $200k monthly for the four children’s maintenance. School feels, extra activities, and security will be separate.

Any additional property will also be divided as per prenup. Considering the situation, it is a lot similar to Ye’s Gold Digger song. Despite the settlement, if any issue arises, the couple will go for mediation. If no solution is resolved, an involved party will make the final decision.
It is likely that Hughley will not be the only one to take a dig at West. The singer has already invited a lot of feud with his controversial comments. Now the artist is also contesting for Presidential elections after losing in 2020.
