The friendly feud between Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds and Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman is not unknown to the world. As close as they are, they never fail from taking subtle jibes as and when they get an opportunity to do so. Ever since the announcement of Deadpool 3 in collaboration with Marvel’s Wolverine, various potshots at one another have come before the public. Here is another instance when Jackman expressed his annoyance with Ryan Reynolds’s persistent nagging.

Everyone who has been following the franchise for a long is aware of how it all started with Reynolds trying his best to convince Jackman into wielding the Adamantium claws, once again. The two back-to-back updates that were released earlier this year also showed how Ryan Reynolds desperately wanted it to happen. Hugh Jackman on the other hand was seen as nonchalant and carefree as he could be.

Hugh Jackman explains how Ryan Reynolds successfully compelled him to appear in Deadpool

This brings us to a new report where the Wolverine star explains how Reynolds finally got him in his movie. Speaking to Deadline, Hugh Jackman opened up the initial journey of inculcating Wolverine into Deadpool. According to him, the news broke out to the star while he was once driving out to a beach. It was mid-August as he explained and he had a week off from the show, The Music Man on Broadway. It was his much-needed first week off in 10 months of continuous shooting.

And then there was Ryan Reynolds. There was not a single morning where he did not wake up where Ryan Reynolds was outside his house with posters saying, “Please.” “He’s constantly asking me about it,” he added. And in response, the Wolverine superhero was like, “Dude, I’m done. I’m done, I’m done, I’m done, I’m done, I’m done“. Even after his final call, both of them were finding it hard to believe what was going on. Nevertheless, the 54-year-old finally agreed to it, and thus, here we are.
