What led Henry Cavill to apologize for his statements
Henry Cavill may be a Superman in reel life, but in reality, he is a human who makes mistakes. He learned his lesson in 2018 when asked about the #MeToo movement during an interview. The Witcher was asked whether #MeToo had made him consider his own behavior towards women. To which he replied, “I like to think that I’ve never been like that.”
Henry said that it is a delicate thing because in a social environment, flirting is considered normal. So while the bad aspects need to change, it is important to retain the good things. The actor also added that there is something wonderful about a man chasing a woman in a traditional way. But today’s times have made it difficult for men to pursue a woman after they say, “No,” making him have to choose between pursuing her or landing in jail.

The Witcher actor said, “I would just like to clarify and confirm to all that I have always and will continue to hold women in the highest of regard,” while confirming his support for the #MeToo movement.
