Netflix has been absolutely phenomenal in producing series based on popular gaming franchises. The most recent series, Arcane, an adaptation from League of Legends, proved to be an instant hit with the fans. DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Book is another example of a Netflix hit based on the popular DOTA gaming franchise. DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Season 2, referred to as Book 2, is now streaming on Netflix. 

As part of the new set of anime releases of January 2022, this game lore is certainly worth the wait. Get ready to embark on a journey alongside fearsome dragons, deities, and knights. Their secrets, love, and drama would surely keep you glued to your screens as you follow the various character arcs and their development.

The first season ended with The Invoker getting the best of Goddess Selemene. It left the viewers with a lot of unanswered questions, which would hopefully be revealed in the coming season.

In the first season, we saw renowned Dragon Knight, Davion, on a path to rid the world of dangerous monsters. In his quests, he encounters various strange beasts and humans. He becomes a part of something much bigger than himself as a dragon, Slyrak, inhabits his body inside a cave during one of his ventures.
