DC Studios has been in a chaotic atmosphere for quite some time now, James Gunn and Peter Safran’s plan for rebooting the universe seems to add to the chaos. While fans were happy to see the return of Henry Cavill as Superman alongside Dwayne Johnson, currently they are also confused. The uncertainty surrounding the future of the DC Universe is making the insiders anxious as well. Does this mean the future plan for the cinematic universe will cost the fandom their favorite superheroes?

Every day, a new rumor comes out about James Gunn’s plan for the cinematic universe. While he has canceled Wonder Woman 3, fans are not sure if they would see their favorite Superman. Even the new CEO stated he would not be able to make everyone happy. But making fans of the universe happy is his priority, as he stated. According to the source, James Gunn might take extreme measures, which might include the cancelation of certain franchises.

Is this the end for Henry Cavill and The Rock?

An anonymous insider revealed to The Hollywood Reporter the plan that the new leader of the DCEU is making. The insider said the new boss is planning to keep the distance from Zack Snyder’s cast of characters. Apparently, the executives at the studio are not all happy about Gunn’s plan. Althoug the insider didn’t point out a specific person, he indicated that the issue might be for the people involved in the DCEU or Snydervrse.

Well, Gunn is determined to do everything he can to justify the story and the characters. To do so, the new boss can take extreme measures. These extreme measures might include the cancelation of Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam and the possibility of seeing him with Henry Cavill once again. It might also cost fans to lose Cavill as Superman, too.

Well, the insider indicated the DCU can’t afford to start from scratch. Therefore, rebooting the whole system and introducing the characters in a different light is Gunn’s plan. He also added Gunn is not planning to cancel the already-established characters who make a lot of money for the studio. Therefore, all we can do now is wait and watch where the new boss takes the DCU.
