Ever since her marriage to the Royal Family, Meghan Markle always had an on-off relationship with its members until a final fallout. During the infancy of their marriage, Harry and Meghan were believed to get accustomed to the Royal Family and its ways. Alas, they could not and a cold war broke out between the two families. Certain actions by the senior members were clearly indicative of the same. One such instance was how Prince William reacted to Markle when she conceived her firstborn, Archie. 

In his book, Spare, Prince Harry brought to us some striking revelations about the Royal Family which we had never heard before. No one had imagined the brother-in-law who exchanged a sweet kiss with the Duchess could have such a cold reaction. The memoir by the Duke reached its audience the previous day on 10th January. The same revealed what the future King’s first and last reaction was to one of the greatest treasures of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. 

Prince William was not too happy about Meghan’s pregnancy says Harry 

According to the sidelined Prince, his elder brother just had a four-word response to his and his wife’s first pregnancy. Prince William was one the first persons that the Duke and Duchess shared the good news. Conceiving their first child together, they expected their closest members to be as elated as them. However, to their surprise, William’s one and only reaction were, “We must tell Kate.” 

As per Harry’s own words, he did not utter more than anything when he was informed of Markle’s pregnancy. Their father King Charles, however, was delighted to hear the news. It was a chance for him to become a grandfather for the fourth time in a row. Before Archie, he was grandpa Charles to Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis of Wales. 

For the unversed, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their firstborn to the world in the month of May 2019. In their recent Netflix Docuseries, it also ame as a massive shock as the couple revealed that they suffered a miscarriage after Archie. Nevertheless, the Duchess conceived again in their California estate at Montecito. They welcomed their second baby girl, Lilibet in 2020 at the dawn of the pandemic.
