Which show shot Jason Bateman to fame in the 2000s?
Jason Bateman’s father and sister were both actors. So it made sense that just at the age of 11, Bateman was on TV doing commercials. Soon after, he was cast in Little House on the Prairie. And then as Ricky Schroder’s best friend in the iconic 90s tv show Silver Spoons. His work in his childhood era paid off because Jason Bateman was termed the teen idol of his era. With his performance on The Hogan Family, not only did the Ozark actor prove himself as a dependable actor but also a brilliant director.

At the age of eighteen, Bateman directed three episodes of The Hogan Family. This made him the youngest ever to join the Director’s Guild of America. Soon after Jason Bateman starred in Teen Wolf Too. And while it did bring him popularity it was a sorry flop.

From 1994 up to his 2003 performance in Arrested Development, which saved his career, the actor played many small roles. It also brought Jason the first of many Emmy nominations that he was going to have. With Mitchell Hurwitz being the mastermind, Arrested Development is a tale of a dysfunctional family in California.
