Time and again, Cavill has talked about his obsession with books, especially the sci-fi and fiction genre. In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, the actor gave an insight into his personal life as he talked about his interests, such as Warhammer characters, novels, etc.

Talking about Cavill’s love for books the interviewer asked the actor to give his go-to sci-fi and fantasy book recommendations to his wife, who is also an avid reader. The Witcher star revealed, “Anything by Raymond E. Feist, anything by David Gemmel, anything by Brandon Sanderson, and obviously Robert Jordan‘s Wheel of Time.”

In continuation, Cavill added how all the writers are completely different from each other. The Witcher star explained how Raymond E. Feist books are a massive world of interconnected stories and David Gimmel is a legend with awards named after him. The actor lauded Brandon Sanderson for his The Stormlight Archive series and for creating an entirely unique fantasy world.

Elsewhere in the interview, the host joking asked Cavill about how often is Toss A Coin To Your Witcher stuck in his head, to which the actor replied, “Once I hear it, it is in there.” Notably, he even landed the role of The Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher, thanks to his knowledge about The Witcher video game franchise.
