It seems Kanye West is seeing to it personally that he changes history. Although he launched his election campaign logo on Twitter on only the 25th of November, the No Child Left Behind rapper has been at it ever since the Paris Fashion Week earlier this year. Ye took using his words to shake the world to a whole different level when he wore a jarring White Lives Matter T-shirt at the recognized fashion event. This understandably provoked a ton of criticism toward the rapper. However, like a billboard hot 100 song that starts slow and later gets catchy, Ye was only laying down the foundations of his greatest controversy in 2022.

In response to the criticism he received, the Grammy-winning rapper restored via anti-semitic tweets that got him locked out of social media. Social media was not the only thing that started maintaining distance from Ye, the brands that would eventually help Ye raise a fashion empire all backed out. And recently, Madame Tusadde who commemorated Ye in 2015 with a wax statue calling him the greatest living rock star on the planet has removed his statue. However, fans on Twitter find it a big ironic.

Madame Tussauds removes the Kanye West wax figure amidst anti-semitism row

Contrary to other brands dropping West in light of his anti-semitic beliefs, Madame Tussaud’s move has raised a few eyebrows. The museum has moved West’s wax figure to an archive room while the figure of who many would consider the father of antisemitism, Adolf Hitler still stands.Ye’s figure has been retired from the attraction floor to our archive,” said a Madame Tussauds spokesperson in London.

Users on Twitter find it rather ironic that the museum has a wax figure of Ad**f Hitler. However, a few have pointed out that the wax figure of the Nazi party leader is standing opposite Winston Churchill, the Former Prime Minister of the UK, signaling that it is symbolism.
