“We’re used to noise and making fun of each other” Henry Cavill Playfully Responds to Having Millie Bobby Brown as a Sibling in Enola Holmes 2
Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill were already Netflix royalties leading the platform’s flagship series Stranger Things and The Witcher, respectively. After garnering massive success with their individual shows, in 2020, the two British actors came together to play Sherlock Holmes and his brilliant sister Enola in the Netflix original film, Enola Holmes. As if that was not enough, a sequel to the quirky film reunited Cavill and Brown as the dynamic duo of detectives in the most recent Enola Holmes 2.
With the second film also receiving glowing reviews, Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill have been on a massive promotional run. Whether it is delving into their characters or sharing behind-the-screen shenanigans; the two are having a blast talking about their movie. In a recent interview, the Man From U.N.C.L.E actor even spoke about on-screen sibling bond.

Henry Cavill shares his experience with Millie Bobby Brown as a sibling in Enola Holmes 2
A few weeks ago, Henry Cavill and Millie Bobby Brown appeared as guests on the popular talk show, Good Morning America. Apart from their breakout roles and upcoming projects, they obviously engaged in conversation about their latest film. When asked how it was “having a little sister,” Cavill had an adorable yet hilarious answer ready.
“I mean, I’m from a family of five boys. And so, we’re used to noise and making fun of each other all the time. And that’s pretty much Millie,” stated the 39-year-old actor, pulling Brown’s leg.
The entire studio audience and the hosts erupted with laughter, listening to Cavill make a joke at Brown’s expense. Even the Stranger Things could not help but giggle at the snarky yet endearing remark.
“I’m not really a sister. I’d be more like a brother,” said Brown, responding as well as looking to Cavill for an agreement.

The Witcher actor, however, replied with a shrug and a simple, “I wouldn’t know,” which resulted in further laughter.
Brown further explained how she believed that Enola and Sherlock shared more of a brotherly camaraderie rather than a brother-sister relationship in the traditional sense. Even though Enola Holmes 2 is set in the 1800s, there is a slight “masculinity within her” that people can relate to. The latest film even had Cavill and Brown share more screen time and their equation, as both siblings and fellow detectives see a beautiful and highly entertaining narrative arc.
