How many shows would be there that have as huge a fan following as Netflix’s Warrior Nun has? The show streamed on the streaming giant for 2 seasons. Unfortunately, despite getting majorly positive reviews, Netflix decided to cancel the show after the second season. While fans have been running a campaign to renew their favorite show, the series creator and showrunner Simon Barry showed a ray of hope.

During his interview with Empire, the showrunner, Simon Barry, faced questions about the #SaveWarriorNun billboards, as reported by CBR. Barry revealed how grateful he was to the fandom for loving the show. However, he also spoke about the show’s rights and how it might have a chance of getting developed away from Netflix. After the cancelation of the Netflix show, Barry continued working with the American OTT platform. And he revealed the streaming giant might not pick the show up ever.

However, he thought, folks from the productivity media, those who owned the rights to the show, would definitely find a way to keep the show going. He might be hinting at another streaming service platform picking up the show and renewing it from where it left off.
