Although this will not be the first Sherlock film that Cavill has associated himself with. As said, the English actor has already portrayed Sherlock Holmes alongside Millie Bobby Brown as Enola Holmes in the Netflix Original. However, in Sherlock Holmes 3, there is a role for the actor that might suit him.

Although Guy Ritchie directed the previous 2 films; in Sherlock Holmes 3, he would be available for the production part only. However, Ritchie and Cavill would work together once again in The Man from U.N.C.L.E 2.
