Witchmas was not that merry after all! While the entire world may be warming itself with goofy festival movies, The Witcher fans had some other plans. 25th December 2022 for them was the time to celebrate the origin story of the whole Witcherverse. However, as the conjunction of spheres happened on Netflix in the most unexpected ways, fans emerged, disappointed, yet again.

Ever since Henry Cavill’s news of leaving the series surfaced on the internet, fans have not only been calling out the showrunners but even threatened to abandon the show. While many are trying to turn the tides around and infiltrating the air with some hope, it seems like the supposed-to-be blockbuster prequel just worsened it for the franchise. Fans once again slam Netflix and writers for the poor scripting, and setting of The Witcher: Blood Origin.

While Lark’s voice could be strong enough to inspire thousands of citizens to “take down an empire,” nothing was witty enough to institute fans’ hopes back in the series. As soon as fans were through Blood Origin, they slammed the streaming giant and the showrunners to entirely ruin the source material.
