Johnny Lawrence doesn’t fail to surprise. Right from opening the Cobra Kai dojo in season 1 to this new clip Netflix has released of season 4. Through the course of the entire series, Johnny has never held back from his training of the kids getting too demanding, as is evident in the following video:
The video features Johnny training members of the Eagle Fang. Training the kids for their match against Kreese’s Cobra Kai, Johnny tells them that they need to break themselves out of the “wait-and-see” approach and intensify their training. Naturally, in a very Johnny fashion, he tells them that they need to jump from one roof to another.
Don’t get him wrong- the roofs aren’t close or the height any less. To quote Demetri, the building is “at least 14 Nates high” and both the buildings are set “5 Nates apart”. This should definitely give users an idea of how dangerous the stunt could prove to be. There’s nothing to worry about, though. There are mattresses on the floor in case anyone ends up falling. All they have to do is “try not to” miss the mattresses. Way to go, Johnny.
Cobra Kai season 4- how excited are you?
All one can say of the ending of 2021 and the beginning of 2022 is that Netflix has provided some of the best content on the platform. From the release of You season 3 and the finale of Money Heist to The Witcher season 2 and the number of titles coming to the platform in January, this period has been great for the cinephiles.
Adding to this is Cobra Kai, back for its season 4. This season, we’ll watch Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso join hands, albeit begrudgingly. The Eagle Fang and Miyagi-do dojos are coming together to, hopefully, defeat John Kreese’s Cobra Kai at the All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament.
