Put Avatar in any production helmed by brilliant filmmakers, and you are likely to grab attention. And Netflix took note of this as it took on the challenge of creating a live-action Avatar: The Last Air Bender series. For those that missed out on the spectacular animation when it aired on Nickelodeon, Avatar: The Last Air Bender is arguably one of the best storylines in animation to exist. With the challenge of bringing animation to life, fans had their doubts about Netflix taking on this project.

Over the past few years, OTT Mogul has recognized the treasures of animation, anime, and remakes. While it may have its heart in the right place, the product often ends up disappointing fans by a huge margin. Fans zapped for updates about Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender

The pandemic saw a resurgence in Avatar: The Last Airbender‘s popularity, which fans of Nickelodeon had already enjoyed from 2005 to 2008. Therefore, the studio that created the anime decided to give it another shot with Netflix with a live-action project with Aang and his crew at the center of affairs.

While that is an intriguing plot, fans are curious about the series thanks to a repost made by Ken Do, who is on the stunt team of the Netflix series. The filmmaker shared a short fan film of Toph, Aang’s mentor for Earth bending, played by Diana Tsoy as she fights off the enemies with ease.

Toph is a blind character, and Ken Do in his short film beautifully captures her earthbending brilliance with his camera work. The short captured how Aang’s master skilfully identifies her opposition’s next move perfectly. This resurfaced clip has fans excited about what Netflix’s live-action series has got to offer.
