‘Top Boy’ Cast Talk About the Street Culture and Origin of the Show in the Netflix’s Pre-release Event in London
Netflix really likes to promote its shows’ new seasons. Thus, the streaming giant starts uploading stills from the show or exclusive footage for the new season months before the release to spread the word about the newest installment. For its crime-drama series Top Boy, whose second season is soon coming on the streaming site, Netflix held an event on March 11th to commemorate the new season.
Let us take a look at who attended the event and what took place.

To celebrate season two of Top Boy , the streaming giant held a live panel talk on March 11th in East London.
Ashley Walters, who plays Dushane in the show, joined writer and creator Ronan Bennett and producer Alasdair Flind on a panel discussing the production of Top Boy.
The This is For Us show was part of the free one-day event “Top Boy Live.” The show commemorated the early 2000s street culture that gave rise to Top Boy.
Moreover, Little Simz, who portrays Shelley, Jasmine Jobson, Saffron Hocking, who plays Lauryn, and Araloyin Oshunremi, who plays Stefan, all attended the event with Micheal Ward, who plays Jamie.
There were many workshops at the event, including one called “Dress the part.” In this event, the show’s costume designers Lauren Miller and Connor Gaffe gave an exclusive class about storytelling through costumes and how to make a mood board. “Dress the part” was hosted by Peigh Asante.
“Beats, rhymes, and life”; “Vision to reality”; “More than a face”; “Industry intel: music and beyond”; and “Creative pathways: alternative routes” were some other courses on the day.

Finally, the night came to an end with a performance by London radio station No Signal and DJs Ney Neyy, SB, and Donch.
When will the season two release

Top Boy was first released in 2011 on Channel 4. However, Netflix picked up the show for its second season, which will release on Friday March 18th.
