Tiger and Bunny to Get New Episodes After 11 years – Netflix Releases Trailer and Release Date

Spring is here! And every anime lover knows what time it is. New spring release anime will be coming soon. This means, the studios are announcing updates like trailer and release dates. And it looks like Netflix has hopped on the bandwagon. Netflix has just released huge updates for season two of hit superhero anime, Tiger and Bunny.

Netflix has a really growing amount anime fans. The streamer has been producing and streaming some of the really popular manga adaptations. However, now Netflix has revived a forgotten anime. In 11 years, Tiger and Bunny will be getting new episodes.

Netflix recently released a trailer for season two of 2011 released Tiger and Bunny. The show will be available for streaming exclusively on Netflix. In an announcement, Netflix revealed the eight episodes of the first season and the 23 episodes of the second season. Both will be available on the streaming website from April 8th, 2022.

Also, in the trailer, get the first look at the new opening song. It is “Kaleido Proud Fiesta” by Union Square Garden.

Tiger and Bunny season two will pick up after the events of Tiger & Bunny The Movie -The Rising.

What is the story and the cast of season 2?

It is really great to see that Netflix is bringing back all of the original cast members from the previous season.

Hiroaki Hirata as Kotetsu T. Kaburagi/Wild Tiger, Masakazu Morita as Barnaby Brooks Jr., Minako Kotobuki as Karina Lyle/Blue Rose, Taiten Kusunoki as Antonio Lopez/Rock Bison, Mariya Ise as Pao-Lin Huang/Dragon Kid.

Joining them are Kenjiro Tsuda as Nathan Seymour/Fire Emblem, Go Inoue as Keith Goodman/Sky High, and Nobuhiko Okamoto as Ivan Karelin/Origami Cyclone.

The show mainly revolves around two superheroes. The Veteran Wild Tiger is assigned a rookie Barnaby Brooks Jr. Both help people while the rookie learns from his senior. Meanwhile, the lone working senior understands the importance of teamwork.
