Brown was on a podcast with one of the bestselling authors and motivational speakers, Erik Qualman. The host had her open up about her stance on social media and how she perceived it as a platform. Millie Bobby Brown opens about the pros and cons of social media
According to the actress, she harbors a certain amount of love for social media sites and handles. She said that such platform let her be herself with no bars or restrictions, but she is “constantly switched off from social media“. Millie is absolutely okay with her platforms being inactive until social media becomes a place that she thinks is “acceptable”.

Given the current situation, it will take some time for the evolving world to reach a stage where social media is positive place to spread love and light. The 18-year-old actress then went on to narrate the negative impacts that online society puts on us. “It becomes so hateful and it becomes so violent and aggressive and no young person needs that in their life,” she elaborated.

Brown has experience dealing with much hate and criticisms online. From hate comments to controversies like the one TikToker Hunter Ecimovi started, the actress has faced much cyberbullying over the years. This eventually led her to give up on social media, and she decided to let her team handle these platforms.
