“They would be ignored”- Royal Expert Reveals How Queen Mother Would Have Tackled Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

The royal family’s reputation went for a toss when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave a sensational interview to Oprah Winfrey. More than a year after leaving the House of Windsor, the couple did not shy away from revealing their side of the story. And how they were troubled by certain members of the royal family. 

Despite the brutal claims of racism by Harry and Meghan, the members of the Palace refrained from speaking about it publicly. While the love-hate relationship between the Sussexes and the royal family continues, the royal expert Hugo Vickers reflected on what Queen Mother would have thought about the entire fiasco. Queen Elizabeth, famous as Queen Mother, was regarded as one of the most famous and lovely royals in the 90s.

Queen Mother would have considered Prince Harry and Meghan Markle nonexistent

Thus, Hugo Vickers claimed that though the late royal woman would have been unhappy with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, she would have simply ignored their existence

“I think the Queen Mother would have been absolutely horrified. The Queen Mother was always someone who if she were unhappy or saw something she didn’t like. They would be ignored, they would be blanked,” Vickers told The Sun. Queen Mother used the same tactic for the Duke of Windsor as well.
