Kate Middleton is applauded on various occasions for being headstrong and working towards her goals. This applause has multiplied by tenfold due to the growing rift between the Royal family and Sussex as heated accusations continue to fly. However, the Princess of Wales, disregarding the drama around her, has been focused on a set goal since 2021.

After actively campaigning for women who are pregnant or have recently become mothers, Kate Middleton moved to spread awareness about the importance of early childhood in a child’s life. Although she has been working on the cause for a long time, the past week has been especially pivotal as she released an open letter through her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, once again inciting everyone about the developmental stage of children and how the early years hold the most significance.

The Duchess of Cambridge is a mother of three children at the age of 41 and has invested a lot of time and effort to make sure that the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood is a success. Furthermore, Kate Middleton dropped an open letter implying just how important the early years of childhood are as she says that the years are responsible for “the adults we become.”

They really are years like no other in our lives,” she further added.

Owing to her experience while working on mental health awareness campaigns started by the Royal family, Middleton understands that the root cause of most traumas and difficulties that one faces mentally are in one way or the other related to our childhood.

I am absolutely determined that this long-term campaign is going to change that,” the Duchess of Cambridge wrote as reported by BBC.  Moreover, Middleton also noted that the plight one faces due to addiction can be controlled to a great extent if due care and attention are given at an early stage.

Middleton has been working for the cause since as early as 2021, however, the awareness campaign named ‘Shaping Us’ has been in full fledge since this week Middleton’s efforts towards such a great cause have not gone unnoticed by her supporters. Through the campaign, the Duchess of Cambridge plans to provide parents with support to make sure that the child’s development is not hindered.
