Lana Del Rey bagged the Billboard Music Visionary Award
Attending the glamorous annual event on March 1, Lana Del Rey received the Billboard Women in Music Visionary Award. This honorary moment took place after 14 years as she released her first song back in 2008. The ‘West Coast’ singer took the stage glimmering in a semi-sheer yellow lace dress and praised the award presenter Olivia Rodrigo. Moreover, she thanked all her fellow artists, collaborators, best friends, and others who have been there with her during this journey.
Later, the New York native spoke to ET’s Deidre Behar about what this award meant to her. In her response, the songstress shared a beautiful message with fans saying you only need to do what makes you happy. Just like she followed her “gut instinct” that paved the right path for her and brought her this honor.
