Ranging from Vampires to Dragons, they have it all. Speaking of which, the new Vampire movie which stars Jamie Foxx and Dave Franco recently made a big premiere on Netflix.

Fans have gone crazy about how the movie stockpiled and beat almost all new movies and tv shows in terms of viewership. Being a family drama movie, Day Shift is jam-packed with wholesome and funny moments. But it is far more than just another Vampire movie. Jamie Foxx and Dave Franco laugh their hearts out off-screen on the sets of Day Shift

According to the director of the movie J.J Perry, Jamie Foxx and Dave Franco came out a lot funnier than what was expected of them. The two stars are the heart of the movie and have looked after everyone not to get bored on sets. In a tweet shared by Netflix Geeked, Perry says, “There would be eruptions of laughter on the set, even after several takes, because those two were funny together.”

We have absolutely no doubt. As comedy runs as one of the prime themes in the movie, they maintain it behind the camera also. In a furry of interviews, the director said he was glad to be working with such actors who already have experience with directing. Talking about Jamie, he thinks “it is good to have more directors on the set.”

What is the movie all about?

Day shift falls under the category of fantasy/adventure as Netflix names it. The film is about a hardworking dad who works day and night to provide for his daughter. He performs errands as a pool cleaner who turns out to be a Vampire hunter. 

The movie had a handsome budget of a whopping $100 million. Day Shift started streaming on the 12th of August this year. And is getting great reception from viewers.
