The Witcher Season 3: Filming begins in March 2022

According to Redanian Intelligence, the pre-production for The Witcher will begin soon in the coming weeks of January. The filming will begin shortly as well, probably in the prior weeks of March this year.

However, we must also not take this as a fixed date. As countries tackle the recent problems of COVID-19, we might as well see the dates pushed a little further. Earlier, the shooting was scheduled to begin in February 2022, but now it is rumored to be in March. We also have to consider the fact that the Netflix Original will have to build a new set from scratch, as they have a new studio now, following their move away from Arborfield Studios to Longcross Studios.

When will shooting end for the third season of The Witcher?

The first reports regarding the shooting schedules suggested production will wrap everything by the end of July 2022. Since they have shifted the start by a month, the shooting will go on till August 2022. But we may see more delays, as we are still living in a pandemic, and each new day brings with it additional issues to be tackled.

There has been no official announcement for a release date of The Witcher Season 3, which is understandable as it has not even started filming yet. However, if everything goes according to plan, we believe we will get the third season of the Netflix Original by Spring 2023.

There has been no announcement for the cast of The Witcher Season 3. However, we know for a fact that the main cast of the show is pretty determined to return for every single season of it. Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, and Joey Batey will all return in their respective roles. Joining them we will have, Mimi Ndiweni, Mecia Simson, Mahesh Jadu, and MyAnna Buring.
