Set about 12000 years before the events of The Witcher, the prequel is going to be an impressive look into the history and lore of The Continent. Netflix recently confirmed that we will get to see the show in 2022. Here is everything we know about The Witcher: Blood Origin, release date, cast, and much more.

The fact that Netflix was so quick to announce a prequel series for The Witcher shows how serious they are about this show. Based on the successful book series written by Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher will return with its season 2 on December 17, 2021.
