The Ultimatum premiered on April 6th, 2022, on Netflix and has been one of the most dramatic and chaotic journeys for the cast and fans. It’s fascinating (albeit a bit worrisome) to watch established long-term couples testing their relationships on an experimental dating reality show. One couple who has definitely intrigued fans is Madlyn Riley Ballatori and Colby Kissinger. We were sure and even hopeful that these two will not end up together. Madlyn and Colby started their journey together on The Ultimatum with Colby giving her the ultimatum to marry him or move on. In the show, we even heard that Madlyn is claiming that she can be happy with someone else who will not force her into marriage immediately. Even the romantic chemistry between the two is very unsettling. They have always had an undying tension between them.

In the show, they paired up with other cast members to be a trial marriage. Madlyn with Randall and Colby with April. But fans became really concerned about the two when Colby hooked up with someone outside the show.

Even some fans expressed on Twitter that Colby is narcissistic and she is spellbound by it.

Another fan questioned the show, saying how Madlyn and Colby can give us a couple goals? Because he cheats on her, and she always has an undying hatred for him.

In conversation with Variety, Madlyn expresses her regrets and says, “I look like such a jerk. It shows my grievances, but not my appreciation. In hindsight, I was like, ‘Maybe I don’t express those things enough.”

Colby explained his side about hooking up with someone else, and explains, “It wasn’t the right thing to do, obviously. And secondly, I should’ve just owned my mistake right there and then.”
