Actors often leave behind characters once they wrap up the project. But this process becomes harder when you live as the character for over a decade. However, it is essential to move on, and so did Emilia Clarke. The petite actress became a household name with her portrayal of the blonde princess and the mother of the Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen, on the HBO series Game of Thrones. The prequel House of The Dragon deals with events and her family that came way before her.

<a href="https://variety.com/2023/tv/news/emilia-house-refuses-watch-house-of-the-dragon-1235496759/">Talking to Matt Donnelly at Variety&#8217;s</a> studio, the Last Christmas actress sheepishly admitted her reluctance to tune in. She feels like the prequel is sort of like a reunion that is not for her to attend. &#8220;It’s so strange. It’s kind of like someone saying, ‘You want to go to this school reunion that’s not your year? Want to go to that school reunion?’&#8221; she explained. But she is definitely happy with the love that the show is receiving. House of the Dragon was a huge hit for the premium cable network saw 9.9 million viewers tuning in for the pilot episode.
