Pat Morita, Ralph Macchio, and William Zabka majorly headlined the list of
characters in the Karate Kid movie franchise. The saga of the underdogs
continued as the franchise had a spin-off which was first aired in the year
2018. The show was an unlikely hit with its four top-tier seasons. Following
them, we have the new Cobra Kai season 5 which is to land on Netflix today.
However, Academy Award nominee, Pat’s Mister Miyagi’s journey in the saga was
short-lived as the actor left us all in the year 2005 due to a tragic death.

As hard as it was for us to bid him goodbye, it was even more difficult for the
cast members to leave him behind. Nevertheless, they haven’t been able to do
that. Mister Miyagi remains interwoven in the entire show and has always been a
guiding light to everyone along with Ralph Macchio’s Daniel. Recently, the star
cast of the show, Ralph Macchio and William Zabka spoke a few words about the

Especially about how Mister Miyagi would feel about the show’s season 5 had he
been here with us today. Upon being asked, Zabka replied, “He’s watching it from
somewhere,” following which, Macchio added, “I think he would love it”.

Both the actors were in accord with the fact that Pat Morita was a sublime
blessing to the team. Hence, they feel his presence all the time on sets. Like
he is always there with them, even if he is not, for real.



The stars were seen in a deep sense of regret and grief for not having their
brilliant co-star or more appropriately, the sensei with them on the screen. In
the flow, they affirmed that it would have been the blast of the year had he
been present today. Zabka tells us more about how funny and dramatic Mister
