Will Smith remains thankful as he celebrates Willow Smith turning 22. She is the youngest member of the Smith family, with a 24-year-old brother, Jaden. At a tender age, the actress appeared with her father in the 2007 movie I Am Legend. Now all grown up, she is focused on her music career.
The Whip My Hair singer stood by her father after his Oscars 2022 debacle. When the whole world criticized his actions, the Smith family stayed together despite any differences. So he missed no chance, and the Emancipation actor poured his heart out on Instagram, as his only daughter turned a year older this year.

Will Smith is smiling again, as he moves past the Slapgate controversy. The actor can be seen posting bits of his life on Instagram. In one such recent Instagram post, the actor wished his daughter who was born on Halloween. The post was a collage video of the father and daughter throughout the years. It had photos and mini clips of their memories together. The words displayed in the video read, ‘Happy Birthday Bean.’

The Fresh Prince actor wrote a long and heartfelt description in the caption to wish her. Referring to her birthday as born day, the actor stated how he couldn’t wait to become a father from a young age. “I had so much stuff to teach them/ Who knew that y’all were the ones who were gonna school me?”

Smith, who himself is recovering from his past mistakes, gave credit to his daughter for making him a better human every day. He ended the message with the last line, “Thanx for teaching an old dog new tricks!” The actor who has more than 63 million followers got a lot of love for the sweet post, garnering more than 400K likes and 4000+ comments. Meanwhile, Willow Smith celebrated her birthday by posting a video of her snuggling with her dog.
