Sarah and Elsie explain the scene shot by shot in a video that lasts 4 minutes and 10 seconds. Elsie begins to describe how her character was struggling in the closing minutes, and Sarah’s character, Melody, steps in to save her.
They both continued to talk about how cold it was and how Lila needed to get out of the water. But Leatherface grabs her leg and drags her away. Elsie then stated that because the scene was long and extremely important, they had to block the actions. Apparently, that was extremely exhausting.

The scenes were choreographed, and Sarah mentioned one scene in particular where they had to do a few retakes. The scene in question was the one where Melody jumped on Leatherface from behind, and because Leatherface was tall, Sarah had to use a couple of juice boxes and a running leap to land on top of him.
