The beginning of 2023 has brought Sydney Sweeney a truckload of projects. While she began the year by announcing her advertisement campaign with Armani, she is finally switching her genre to rom-com as she announced a film with Top Gun: Maverick star Glen Powell.

The film created a huge buzz because of these two rising talents coming together. While Powell has some experience in the rom-com genre, Sweeney is completely new to it. When the film was announced, no details were given except for the leads and a few crew members—not even the name of the film. However, recently, pictures from the sets of the film have been going viral over social media, in which both leads are visible.

Director Will Gluck, of Easy A and Peter Rabbit fame, is directing this upcoming rom-com. Recently, actress Alexandra Shipp of X-Men fame joined the cast of this R-rated film. Apart from Shipp, Bryan Brown, Michelle Hurd, and Darren Barnet are said to be joining the cast of the film.

With so many big names boarding the ship of this film, it is natural that fans are hyped for the film. And with very few details of it made public, any new information about the film is exciting for fans. Hence, their reaction to this picture is as expected.

Fans are loving the chemistry between Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell

Sydney’s fans were waiting for a long time for her to switch her genre from being the vaguely dreamy girl to being a bubbly and sarcastic person. After all, she received huge appreciation and a Primetime Emmy nomination for her sarcastic role as Olivia Mosbacher in The White Lotus. Hence, when finally a new update about this anticipated project is out, fans are leaving no traces behind to appreciate the Euphoria star.

A fan commented, “Wait the ways shes looking at him….. Zoey Deutch move over!!!”. This tweet is in reference to Powell’s film with Zoey Deutch called Set It Up which came out in 2018. Apparently, it was a huge hit and the chemistry between these two was highly appreciated.

Apart from being the lead of the film, the 25-year-old is also executive producing it under her own production banner Fifty-Fifty Films. This is going to be an exciting year for her, let’s see when the makers reveal the name of the film.
