The Harry & Meghan docuseries indeed exposed the dynamics of a lot of relationships among the Royal Family. The six-part bombshell made it very clear that the Sussexes’ days of maintaining a healthy relationship with the Palace are limited. Nevertheless, it also showed which members of their own still stand tall with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. One of them was Princess Eugenie, the younger cousin of Harry and William. However, others have been some recent development of hers with Kate Middleton as well. 

Staying completely unaffected by the same, or so as they portrayed, the Windsors put on a unifying front on the occasion of Christmas. Joining the core senior members were Prince Andre and his daughter, Princess Eugenie, and son-in-law, Jack Brooksbank. However, as reported by The Daily Express, what struck the public’s mind was Princess Eugenie and her contrasting actions.

After the release of the docuseries, the public was very clear about which side Mrs. Brooksbank was in favor of. However, the Christmas concert celebration at Westminster Abbey indicated something else. On the eve of the 15th, the Princess took to her Instagram handle stating, “It was an honor to celebrate HM’s life at the Princess of Wales Carol consort, together at Christmas“. In the post, she also uploaded a picture of her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton laughing and smiling with the children who were present at the event.

Sadly, when you are a Royal, you can never exist in the grey area. Following the incident, the public has raised its fair share of questions demanding the Princess’s side. While many saw it as an act of supporting Wales, others talked about how she was the only royal member who was on good terms with the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, and Prince Harry. Scenes of the Netflix bigwig also show scenes of the Princess playing with her niece, Archie on the beaches. 

As it ended, everyone was of the opinion that Princess Eugenie was more completely in support of Meghan Markle than she was of Kate Middleton. Nevertheless, the recent Christmas Carol has put a big question on the previous claims. Putting up a picture of the Princess of Wales after having confirmed her best friendship with Meghan Markle did not sit well with many Royal spectators out there.
